This zine is part of a series where I write about the underlying themes surrounding gender and sexuality in movies that I grew up with. In this issue, about the movie Matilda, I write about the overall theme of chosen family which is very familiar to queer people, and the depictions of femininity and masculinity in women. The zine contains images from the movie, my own writing, and digital drawings.
