This zine is part of a series where I write about the underlying themes surrounding gender and sexuality in movies that I grew up with. This issue explores the romantic relationship between Idgie and Ruth from the movie Fried Green Tomatoes and how that relationship was disguised as friendship for the movie. The zine contains images from the movie, my own writing and digital drawings, as well as the movie’s soundtrack.
