KILR4 is a quarter page size (4.5"x5.5"), 40 pages, FULL COLOR zine, printed on glossy paper, bound with staples. It contains my original poetry, personal essays, collage art, and a comic I drew. I make my zines analog style, meaning with my hands and craft supplies rather than on the computer. Then I scan in the pages. I used different craft patterned papers for this zine, along with my cut and paste collaging, as well as some tape transfers that I made.
Topics explored in this issue include: family dysfunction, CW for mention of abusive family members, loss and heartbreak, imposter syndrome as a writer, some gender thoughts, love of nature, how the pandemic affected me, chronic pain, and my 12 step recovery program, Al-Anon.
