I work as a volunteer for a wildlife rehab here in Philadelphia, where I feed, care for, and clean up after the critters people bring to us: snakes, turtles, squirrels, opossums, ducks and geese, songbirds, raptors, and many others. Learning about and working with the animals has been a really beautiful experience for me, and I wrote a short essay about it. Then I teamed up with my friend, the artist Defectivepudding—another animal lover and advocate—who drew a beautiful comic illustrating things we can all do to protect these beloved creatures.
This zine is a numbered edition of 100 and was printed in our home studio.
